Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

We do not sell your personal information. We use it to provide PremisePulse, respond to feedback, and keep the service secure. Trusted service providers process information needed for these services.

About this policy

This policy covers the PremisePulse website and phone app during the friends and family test. Both support account access, photo analysis and saved property records, maintenance tasks, filter reminders, receipts, warranty dates, feedback and record exports. Optional local weather, utility-comparison and insurance-renewal notifications are available on supported phones; remote push delivery is not enabled in this preview. Test checkout uses Stripe’s external payment page; real in-app purchasing is not enabled.

Information we collect

Account information includes your email address, account identifier, authentication details, and account activity. Your device stores sign-in information so you can stay signed in.

When you analyze a photo, we process the photo, selected issue category, and any concern you enter. Choosing Save to Property Passport uploads your photo and stores the result, concern, property label, and date with your account. Uploaded files may contain embedded metadata or personal information visible in the image.

Filter reminders store the property and filter labels you enter, change dates, chosen interval, reminder settings, and email-delivery records. Feedback stores your message, selected type, optional device description, submission date, and account identifier.

Our hosting and other service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, device or browser details, request times, and error or security logs. We also keep usage counts to enforce testing limits and prevent abuse.

Property Passport setup stores the property name, country, and ZIP or postal code you enter privately with your account. These locations can be saved before a scan and updated later. A full street address is not required.

Receipts & Warranties stores your household-item name, selected property, retailer, purchase date and amount, currency, confirmed warranty date, notes, uploaded receipt, reminder settings, time zone, and delivery records. Receipts may reveal addresses or payment details; cover information that is not needed before uploading.

Maintenance Plan stores the selected property, task name, due date, repeat interval, time zone, status, and your recorded completions, schedule changes, dates, and notes. These tasks currently provide in-app reminders rather than maintenance emails.

PremisePulse has a test-only Homebuyer Day Pass checkout. We store its order identifier, account and saved-property identifiers, Stripe price and checkout identifiers, checkout status and times, pass activation and expiration times, and scan-attempt counts and outcomes. Test checkout does not collect a real payment.

The phone app requests camera access when you choose to take a photo. It uses the system picker for selected photos and receipt documents. Selected photos are converted to JPEG and resized before sending; the selected receipt or photo and generated files may remain in device caches managed by the operating system. It does not request microphone access for scanning.

Utility Bills stores your selected property, provider name, utility type, currency, comparison date, phone-reminder preference, monthly bill amounts and notes with your account. Utility and bank login credentials are not requested. Optional comparison reminders are scheduled locally on your phone and use its time zone; open the app to synchronize changed dates. Utility history has its own CSV export and is not yet included in Passport exports.

Insurance Renewals stores your selected property, insurer name, policy type, premium and payment period, currency, renewal date, chosen review-reminder date, phone-notification preference, reviewed comparison questions and notes with your account. PremisePulse does not send these records to insurers or automatically renew or cancel policies. The optional reminder is scheduled locally on your phone using its time zone.

Insurance guide selection uses the property’s saved country and may send only its U.S. ZIP code or first three Canadian postal-code characters to Zippopotam.us to identify the state or province. We do not send the property name, account details, insurer, premium, notes or photos for this lookup. Verified regional guides are shown when connected; otherwise a national guide is labeled as general guidance. Opening the guide visits an external official website under its own privacy practices.

How we use information

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, analyze photos, display and organize saved scans, send account emails and reminders you enable, handle feedback and support, and operate and protect the service. Feedback helps us decide what to improve.

We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or use your photos to train our own AI models. We do not have advertising trackers in the current PremisePulse app or website.

Selecting a saved property fills in its service location for repair-help suggestions. Its ZIP or postal code is not included in the photo-analysis request to OpenAI. Opening an external BBB search sends the search location, country, and repair category to BBB, which applies its own privacy practices.

Service providers and other disclosures

Supabase provides account authentication, the database, and saved-photo storage. Vercel hosts the website and its server functions. Resend delivers account emails and filter reminders; reminder emails include the property and filter labels you entered and the due date.

When you choose Analyze Photo, your photo, issue category, and concern are sent to OpenAI to produce AI observations. You can choose not to analyze a photo. Avoid uploading faces, addresses, documents, or other personal details that are not needed for the property question.

The current analysis request does not ask OpenAI to store the response for later retrieval. This does not eliminate provider retention: OpenAI may retain information for safety, abuse monitoring, or legal obligations under its API data policies. Deleting a saved scan from PremisePulse does not automatically delete provider logs.

The owner and authorized service providers may access information as needed to operate the service or respond to support and deletion requests. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users or the service. Providers may process information outside your country.

If you test the phone app through Expo Go, Expo also processes information under its own policies. The external sites and apps you open from PremisePulse have their own privacy practices.

Choosing Read receipt photo with AI sends the selected image to OpenAI to suggest draft purchase details. This is optional; you may enter details manually instead. Receipt PDFs are saved privately through Supabase and are not sent for AI reading in this version. Warranty emails through Resend contain the item and property labels and the confirmed expiration date, not the receipt or purchase amount.

Stripe hosts test checkout and processes information entered there under its own privacy policy. We send Stripe internal order, account, and property identifiers to match checkout to your pass; we do not send the property name, ZIP code, photos, or receipt files to Stripe. PremisePulse does not receive or store the full card number from hosted checkout. Use only test card details while checkout is in test mode.

Your choices and deletion requests

You can delete individual saved scans in Property Passport. You can turn off a filter reminder in Air Filter Reminders to stop future reminder emails for that filter. Signing out removes the active sign-in from that device; it does not delete your account or saved information.

To ask a privacy question or request access, correction, or deletion of your account and associated information, sign in and send a Feedback message using Other. State what you want removed. If you cannot sign in, contact the person who invited you to the test using your existing contact method. Do not send passwords or sensitive documents.

The PremisePulse owner handles these requests manually after verifying account ownership. There is no automatic account-deletion button in this test version. A dedicated business contact address will be added when that inbox is available.

You can edit household-item details, turn off warranty reminders, download the receipt, or delete the item and its receipt. Confirmation of the warranty date is your responsibility. Record downloads include saved household items and receipts.

Maintenance tasks and their history are included in Download my records in Property Passport. You can mark a task not applicable, schedule it again, or delete it. Deleting a task also deletes its recorded maintenance history. Keep a downloaded copy first if you want to retain that history.

You can edit or delete utility bills and providers. Deleting a provider removes its bill history. Turn off its phone-reminder option and save to cancel future local comparison reminders on that phone; open the app on other phones to synchronize. Keep a separate utility CSV export if you want a copy before deleting.

You can edit or delete insurance renewal records and their saved question checklists, and export a separate text summary. These records are not included in Passport exports yet. Deleting a renewal keeps your Insurance Inventory items. Turn off phone reminders and save to cancel the schedule on that phone, and open the app on other phones to synchronize changes.

Retention and security

Account information and saved records currently have no automatic expiry and remain until removed or handled through a verified deletion request. Unsaved analysis is processed to produce your result; not saving it to Property Passport does not prevent the AI provider from processing it. Technical logs, email-delivery records, and backup copies may remain for provider retention periods or where needed for security or legal obligations.

PremisePulse uses authenticated access and account-based permissions for saved information. Other testers cannot view your saved scans or feedback through the service. These protections do not guarantee that all security risks can be eliminated.

A test day pass expiring stops its scan access; it does not automatically delete your account or saved Passport records. Existing record-download and verified-deletion options still apply.

The app can create a temporary local export containing private photos and receipts and open your device’s save/share menu. It deletes the temporary export after that menu returns. Copies you save or share remain at your chosen destination, with that service’s own privacy practices. Device image caches and source photos are not securely erased by signing out.

Children and sensitive information

This test is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Please keep passwords, financial details, identification documents, and other unnecessary sensitive information out of photos, property labels, concerns, and feedback.

Updates and contact

We will update this page when features or data practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be brought to testers’ attention before information is used in a materially different way. For current privacy questions or deletion requests, use the Feedback form or contact your test inviter as described above.

Optional weather section and property alerts

The phone app has an optional weather card based on a saved Property Passport. PremisePulse sends a U.S. ZIP code, or the first three characters of a Canadian postal code, to Zippopotam.us for approximate area coordinates. Rounded coordinates go to MET Norway for forecasts and, for U.S. properties, to the National Weather Service for official local alerts. These requests do not include property names, account identifiers, photos, receipts, or phone GPS data. Providers see the PremisePulse server connection rather than the phone connection.

The card and animation can be turned off in Weather settings. Primary-home and weather preferences are saved on this device for the signed-in account. Reduced Motion stops animation. Weather effects stay inside the card; the app background remains plain.

U.S. alerts are checked while the app is open and may be cached briefly. The phone app can schedule local expected-freeze reminders and display official-warning notices while it is open, after you allow notifications. It does not yet receive new official warnings from the server while the app is closed, and does not replace emergency alerts. Postal-area alerts may not match the exact property; alert-feed failures are shown as unavailable rather than as no alerts. Canadian alert feeds are not connected; the app links to Environment Canada. Property guidance is general preparation information linked to official safety sources and the American Red Cross.

Forecast data: MET Norway. Postal data: Zippopotam.us / GeoNames. U.S. alerts: National Weather Service. Weather data is adapted into card effects with Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 attribution in settings. Provider terms and privacy practices also apply.

Notification preferences and a reminder history are stored on this phone for the signed-in account. Scheduled notices use the primary home forecast, with general freeze advice on the lock screen; property names are omitted. Switching accounts, signing out, turning weather off, or disabling reminders cancels this app’s scheduled weather notices when the app can complete that change. No Expo push token is collected by this local-notification feature. Open the app regularly so changed forecasts can update or cancel planned reminders.
